Creativity & Well-being in the Digital Era

Hi, I’m Susanne — a multidisciplinary creative working at the intersection of the academic, the artistic, and the practical. Integrating professional experiences and higher education from various fields, I seek to become a resourceful human being and to inspire and support others to live their creative potential.

I understand creativity not as a rare talent, but as a fundamental human capacity, one that is tied to our well-being. To be well, we need a healthy rhythm between consumption and creation, movement and rest— a balance that is heavily challenged by consumer culture and digital distractions. My work in academia focused on this field: how the digital world impacts us, and why creative and embodied practices matter especially now in this digital era — for individuals, communities, and society at large.

In everything I do — photography, yoga, craft, or guidance — my intention is to empower, to help meet this pivotal moment with agency and creativity.

I write about all of this on my Substack, Feet to Cloud. If you are like me: informed, on the mat, and yet occasionally overwhelmed, wondering whether we're getting pulled apart or stretching to new dimensions of flourishing, join me there.

    Photography

I work exclusively with natural light on film. In a world overflowing with artificial images, analog photographs are a statement of aesthetic consideration and textured depth.

I am based in Innsbruck, Austria. Available for travel in Europe and beyond.

  • Yoga

I am a 500 hrs+ certified yoga teacher, currently deepening my practice and training in Katonah Yoga®.

Yoga is cultivating connection with the universal intelligence our bodies hold. The goal of the practice is to inform, not to conform, to create the conditions for living our full creative potential.

  • Guidance

On my own unbeaten path, I've gathered tools and experiences I couldn't have found in any single discipline. I share these as digital resources and in a supportive 1:1 setting.

I integrate scientific insight, classic coaching, and embodied techniques to help you find clarity, reclaim your agency, and move toward a life and vision that feels genuinely yours.

To live as an artist
is a way of being in the world.

Those who do not engage in the traditional arts might be wary of calling themselves artists. They might perceive creativity as something extraordinary or beyond their capabilities. A calling for the special few who are born with these gifts.

Fortunately, this is not the case. Creativity is not a rare ability. Creativity is a fundamental aspect of being human. Creativity doesn’t exclusively relate to making art. To create is to bring something into existence. It could be a conversation, the solution to a problem, a note to a friend. What you make doesn’t have to be witnessed, recorded, or sold for it to be a work of art.

Regardless of whether or not we’re formally making art, we are all living as artists. To live as an artist is a way of being in the world. A way of perceiving. A practice of paying attention. Refining our sensitivity to tune into more subtle notes. Attuned choice by attuned choice, your entire life is a form of self-expression. You exist as a creative being in a creative universe.
